Your Mind's Path to Wellness
As a professional counsellor, I am committed to helping clients navigate life's challenges and achieve emotional well-being. My approach integrates person-centred and psychodynamic therapies.
As a registered member of the NCPS organisation, I am committed to upholding the highest professional standards and working by the NCPS Ethical framework. As a dedicated, qualified counsellor with a CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I am focused on providing compassionate and practical support to clients to improve their well-being. My approach is client-centred, meaning I prioritise the unique needs and goals of each person I work with.
With extensive experience in educational settings, I have had the privilege of working closely with children and young adults, helping them navigate various challenges. My role as a recovery counsellor at a substance and alcohol misuse centre has further deepened my understanding of supporting individuals through some of life's most difficult moments. As a telephone and online counsellor, I specialise in offering compassionate support for those dealing with bereavement, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and addiction. My diverse background has equipped me with the empathy, skills, and insight needed to guide clients towards healing and empowerment.
Integrative counselling, a flexible and holistic approach, is designed to respect and accommodate your unique needs. By combining different therapeutic methods, it tailors treatment to your specific situation, ensuring you receive the most effective support.
By combining Person-Centred and Psychodynamic therapies, I offer a comprehensive view of your experiences. This approach allows me to address your current concerns and the underlying issues influencing your well-being, ensuring you feel understood and supported.
Person-centred therapy is a powerful tool that empowers you to actively participate in your healing process, fostering self-confidence and autonomy. Psychodynamic Therapy offers deep insights into your emotional world, helping you understand and resolve complex feelings and behaviours. This process of gaining insight and empowerment can be a source of hope and motivation for your journey towards emotional well-being.
Integrative counselling promotes long-term emotional health and resilience by addressing surface-level and deeper psychological issues to gain tools and insights to help you navigate future challenges more easily and confidently.
I am dedicated to creating a safe, empathetic space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear or judgment. This supportive environment is crucial for effective healing and personal growth.
